The competition

The Hydro Tasmania Three Peaks Race invites entries in a Photographic Competition. The 2005 race commences on Good Friday 25th March 2005.

The competition is for either colour or monochrome photographs depicting any aspect of the race showing one or more components of "The Challenge, The Heartache, the Joy".

The Competition Rules

• Photographs are to be of any aspect of the Hydro Tasmania Three Peaks Race including the yachts, runners, volunteers, the mountains of the race, spectators, etc, depicting any aspect of the race.
• Each entrant may enter a maximum of 4 photographs.
• Each photograph must be titled and have the owners name, address and age, telephone number and email address on the reverse side.
• Photographs shall not exceed A4 size - 210 mm x 297 mm. Photographs do not need to be mounted.
• All photographs must be entirely the owners work
• Photographs can be either self processed or commercially processed.
• Photographs must be forwarded by Friday 6th May 2005 to:

• Judging will be by nominees of Fletchers Fotographics and the Hydro Tasmania Three Peaks Race Committee.
• The Australian Three Peaks Race Inc. will use selected images for promoting the event. This may include the display on the Hydro Tasmania Three Peaks Internet site, in a public exhibition or other means. Images may be electronically scanned for display. Fletchers Fotographics may choose to display some or all photographs.
• The ownership will remain that of the photographer.
• All photographs will be returned to the owners during August 2005.
• The winner will be notified by post, telephone or email and the prize dispatched soon after.
• Employees of Fletchers Fotographics or the Hydro Tasmania Three Peaks Committee are ineligible to enter.
• Entry in the competition is free and no entry form is required but clearly mark each photo with your name and address.
