Barmouth to Fort William Three Peaks Yacht Race The British "Barmouth to Fort William Three Peaks Yacht Race"

The original "British Three Peaks Race" was first conducted in 1977 under the presidency of the late Major Harold William (Bill) Tilman CBE DSO MC, explorer, adventurer and mountaineer. It was the enthusiasm and help received from the British organisers and the challenge of such an event that led to the establishment of the Australian race in Tasmania in 1989.

The Scottish Islands Peaks Race

The Scottish Islands Peaks Race is a combined running and sailing race for seagoing yachts and fell runners conducted off the west coast of Scotland.
The objective of the race is to provide the ultimate challenge for teams of hill runners and sailors over a long weekend around the beautiful West Coast of Scotland.
