Yacht Safety Equipment

This safety compliance check list is based on the Yachting Australia Racing Rules of Sailing 2008 - 2012, Addendum A, for Category 3 events.

The Australian Three Peaks Race is the equivalent of three Category 3 races however the yacht safety that is specified is generally closer to that of an Yachting Australia Safety Category 2 event. Addition safety items over the specification for Category 3 are required.
