experience places them with an advantage that new teams cannot
match.

Division: 3 - Fully Crewed Racing

Team 4:
Haphazard
Design: Radford 14
Division: 3 - Fully Crewed Racing
Crew: Nick Edmunds (19) sailor, Sidmouth Tas; Ross Edmunds
(11) sailor, Sidmouth Tas; Sam Edmunds (11) sailor, Sidmouth

Clarence Point Tas; John Claridge (4) runner, Launceston Tas;

Amazingly Nick and David Wright have competed in all 19 races
to date and are still as enthusiastic as ever. It would be
great to see Haphazard score another win especially for the
all important 20th race. The team has enormous experience,
a well prepared and powerful yacht so they do have a better
than even chance for a good placing if not a win.

New to its Tasmanian ownership it has the potential of winning
the race in a comfortable manner even if the conditions are
hard.
Owner John Brierley has had considerable experience with
an earlier Crowther cat, a Shockwave 37 so he will very

This yacht has the distinction of being to largest to compete
in the race. A big cruising yacht normally used for charter
work in Queensland by owner Drew Murray has a largely Tasmanian
crew many experienced in Three Peaks racing. Displacing some
35 tonnes this yacht will need strong breezes to perfom well
although its long waterline length will give it an advantage
over smaller yachts.
